In the physics like many other sciences have big names in national and international scales. Many things about these scientists are widely known, others are little known and probably there are still unknown. From the wide choice, we selected five names: A. A. Fridman (Russian), L. D. Landau (Russian), W. Heisenberg (German), E. Fermi (Italian) and J. Maxwell (Englishman):
- Fridman, as opponent to A. Einstein on the General Relativity Theory and its cosmological aspects;
- Landau, as opponent to A. Kolmogorov on the theory of locally homogenous and isotropic turbulence;
- Heisenberg, as author of one of the best known spectral theories of turbulence;
- Fermi, as physicist encyclopedist, theoretician and experimentator;
- Maxwell, as “grand parent” of elements of the present chaos theory.
Along with these people, many other scientists (physicists and mathematicians), their contemporaries, are mentioned. We guess what could happen related to the names of the above selected physicists, but it didn’t happen and why.
